You may be considering therapy because you feel stuck, anxious, or depressed, or perhaps you need support while navigating a challenging phase in life. Sometimes these feelings are linked to clear and identifiable events, while at other times, their root causes can feel unclear. Counselling and therapy provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to explore the emotions and behavioral patterns that may be contributing to your distress.
I offer both short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy for individual adults (18+), couples, and groups. Areas I work with include stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, employment issues, redundancy, higher education challenges, postnatal depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, low confidence, body image concerns, trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting, bullying, cultural conflicts, identity, adjustment and belonging, and workplace counselling.
About Me
Welcome to my practice. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel both challenging and empowering, and I’m here to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge, seeking greater self-understanding, or looking to create meaningful change in your life, I am committed to working collaboratively with you to help you achieve your goals.
I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) with an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute. Additionally, I am a clinical supervisor and a PTSTA (Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst). I also hold a diploma in psychodynamic supervision. I am a UKCP Registered member and I abide by their ethical framework. I attend regular clinical supervision to support my work.
I provide counselling and psychotherapy in English and Arabic.
I have named my practice "Delta" because in science "delta" signifies change, and in therapy the aim is always to achieve significant positive change together.

Counselling and psychotherapy
Seeking professional support can feel overwhelming, so creating a comfortable and supportive environment for anyone considering therapy is very important to me. Once you reach out to me via email or contact form, we will schedule a free initial phone call lasting about 15 minutes. If you decide to proceed, we will arrange an initial 50-minute session. There’s no obligation to continue therapy if you feel it isn’t the right fit for you.
If you choose to continue after the initial session, we’ll agree on a suitable weekly time slot. Sessions will be 50 minutes for individuals and couples. The duration of therapy is entirely up to you, and you can stop whenever it feels appropriate.
Therapy is a confidential process where you can feel safe to share anything. I also attend regular supervision as part of my professional and ethical responsibilities, ensuring a high standard of care. Supervision is confidential and adheres to strict professional codes of conduct.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me via the contact tab or by email. For general information on counselling and psychotherapy, you can explore the "More Information" section on my website.
